Homemade Brownies

My co-worker Anna Marie brought these to the staff meeting last week, and they were quite yummy, so I asked her for the recipe. She said it was her mother's recipe and that they were "blue ribbon" brownies. Yum!

Melt over hot water:
4 squares unsweetened chocolate
2/3 cup wesson oil
Beat in:
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
Sift together and stir in:
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

Bake 30-35 minutes in a 9x13 pan at 350 degrees.
