German Baked Eggs

I got this recipe from Trudy, a co-worker of mine, who made it for a breakfast function. I tried some and it was delicious, so I asked her for the recipe! She said "I use slightly less butter in the casserole dish than the recipe says...but the butter helps it get golden brown on top."

1 lb. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
12 eggs
1/2 cup melted butter, put into 9"x13" pan
2 cups small-curd cottage cheese
1/4 cup flour
1 tsp. baking powder

Slightly beat eggs, then add flour and remaining ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until a knife comes out clean in center. Eggs should be firm and lightly brown on top.

**In discussing this recipe with another co-worker, she suggested adding maybe some meat or vegetables. I haven't tried it, but I'm sure it would be good!
